The library obtained the Churakov collection in 1941 - 1942. It holds over 55,000 post-cards with views of towns and cities, dated between the late 1890s and 1941. Half the collection includes material for foreign countries, and especially for Germany, France and Switzerland. The other half describes domestic towns and cities. The Churakov collection is particularly strong in the material relating to Kiev, Vilnius, Nizhni Novgorod, Moscow, and Saint Petersburg.

Mikhail Lermant's Collection includes over 1400 bookplates dating the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The collection consisted primarily of works by his own contemporaries: works by artists belonging to the World of Art association and prominent Leningrad and Moscow designers of the 1920s and 1930s.
