Mikhail Lermant's collection includes over 1400 bookplates dating the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The collection consisted primarily of works by his own contemporaries: works by artists belonging to the World of Art association and prominent Leningrad and Moscow designers of the 1920s and 1930s.
