The Tiumenev Collection

Portraits of the composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Cuttings, photographs.

The amateur collection of Ivan Tiumenev contains separate sheets and cuttings from Russian and foreign magazines. Material in this collection are arranged thematically and covers a wide range of subjects - portraits, historical events, views, and ethnography. The main part of the collection is 28000 portraits which were acquired by the National Library in 1932.
