Ex Libris for Ì.À.Ïàçóõèíîé by Å.Ñ.Êðóãëèêîâîé
Bookplates by E.Kruglikova are produced in a variety of techniques. Sometimes they look like fine prints: the Ex-Libris for M.Pazukhina as if draws a spectator in a cozy domestic world. The silhouette device for E.Shokhor-Trotskaya is of a totally different character; its dynamic composition is constructed by using contrast of light and shadow; it is decorated with a simple pattern.

Working mainly with woodcutting techniques, Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva often produced views of the grand architecture of St Petersburg. These images, such as the Ex Libris for Z.Morozova, are distinct and rather cold, but surprisingly harmonious.

The bookplate for S.Koznakov is an interesting stylization that typifies works of the World of Art group as a whole. Like the expressive Ex Libris for S.Lebedev, it is executed in colours with a variety of natural motifs.
